Mug Rugs - a Semi-Finish and a Sale!

Hello everyone! Unfortunately I don't have a lot to report today. My son has been sick with a cold the last 2 weeks and this week his asthma flared up really bad. We got some new meds for him yesterday but he's been home from school for 3 days so I haven't had a lot of sewing time. I did get my secret quilt top done but I can't show you a picture of that yet.

Last night, after getting Max in bed, I managed to make the tops of 4 mug rugs for my craft fair. I used part of a Miss Kate charm pack by Bonnie & Camille for Moda Fabrics that I recently purchased on sale from Shabby Fabrics. And I'm going to be using these Toscana fat eighths (Deborah Edwards for Northcott Studio), also from Shabby Fabrics, as the backs. I love these bright colors!

I'm linking up today to Confessions of a Fabric Addict and crazy mom quilts' finish it up Friday.
Also, here is a message from Craftsy. This part of my post is sponsored and if you click on my Craftsy link, I will be compensated for any purchase you make so thanks in advance!

  2. Love your mug rugs. My son suffered with asthma that was always really bad whenever he got sick, but I am happy to say that he outgrew it with age and is now a professional volleyball player. Hang in there, it will get easier!
