Happy New Year!

Hello everyone! Well, it has been about 2 1/2 months since I've posted and that was an unintentional hiatus. Between getting ready for the craft fair I did in November, getting my son ready for Halloween and frantically trying to get a Halloween table runner done less than a week before Halloween, I kind of burnt myself out! I lost my mojo for a while. But on top of all that, we found out in mid-October that we are pregnant! I'm due late June so the last couple months I've been dealing with all the fun that comes with early pregnancy. But now that I'm in my 2nd trimester, things are going better and I'm getting back into the swing of things!

The craft fair went pretty well. I didn't sell as much as I had hoped but I did enough to justify trying it again next year. Here are a few pictures.

I also had 1 bee block to complete in November. It was a wonky star block which was fun but at the same time, a bit difficult for me. I love symmetry so I have trouble with making things wonky! But the queen liked it and that's what mattered.

Here are my Halloween projects. The first is my son's costume. He had a tail wrapped around his waist and sticking out the back as well. The table runner is what I attempted to get done but just didn't make it. I got most of the quilting done but for some reason was having a hard time tying off my knots! I was getting so frustrated so I just decided to put it away. It's on my list to get done for this Halloween.

Speaking of my list for this year, I have 16 projects on it so far! That's for the whole year and some are potentially for profit. And what's even better, I have most of the supplies already to complete all of them so I won't have to buy much this year! We'll see how that goes! ;)

And speaking of profit, I listed some things in my Etsy shop with more to come this week. Check it out!

Well, I hope that everyone had Happy Holidays and that the new year is starting out well. We are finally getting winter here which is kind of nice. At least for a bit. I'm sure I'll be over it soon enough!

Have a sew crafty day!
