To Do Week of 1/26/15

Hello! I hope everyone had a sew crafty weekend. I did not get a lot of catch-up done but I did get 3 more Scrap Happy Purse panels almost done. It's just hard to get sewing done on the weekends because that's family time. And that's what it should be.

Looking at last week's to-do list, I really didn't accomplish much. That was mostly because Max was sick Thursday and Friday but also because I was sidetracked on Monday by one of my pattern ideas. My EQ7 software came on Friday and I was able to play enough with it that I felt confident enough to create one of my patterns with it. Now, I just need to get yardage finalized and figure out what fabrics I want to use to create the quilt. But not this week.

I had 5 projects that I wanted to have completed by 1/31. One is done - the apron - but I can say with every confidence that the other 4 will not get done. And that's okay. I gave myself a light load in February. So if I can get 2 more projects finished, or really close to finished, I'll be happy. Here is this week's to-do list:
  1. Finish all the panels for the Scrap Happy Purse and hopefully start constructing the purses.
  2. Finish my aunt's placemats.
  3. Piece December $5 quilt blocks and figure out placement of all 24 blocks.
That's it. But really, that's a lot! I'd love to hear about what you're working on this week.

Have a sew crafty day!

Jenn

  1. Good luck with your goals for the week. It is so hard to believe that January is almost over... where does the time go?!?
