My best WiP so far - It's a Girl!

Hello! It has been a slow week so far but we did have an exciting Monday. I had my 20-week ultrasound and we took our son so he could see the baby and hear the heartbeat. We already knew the gender because I had the MaterniT21+ blood test done at just over 11 weeks so this was really just confirmation and we were hoping to not get a big surprise! We didn't. It's a girl and she's perfectly healthy so far! :)

After spending all morning at the doctor's office on Monday, I was able to make a bit of progress on Double Crossed. I got all the fabric sorted into combinations that I liked and began chain piecing the white strips.

I was feeling a bit more tired yesterday so I decided to take a day off and it was wonderful! I took a nap, did a load of laundry and just vegged out on the couch. I haven't done that it a quite a while and I needed a break. I did receive a phone call yesterday from a customer who purchased a bowl cozy from my Etsy shop. She is sending me some fabric so I can make her more! I'm excited about that!

I am linking up today with Let's Bee Social and WiP Wednesday.

And now it's back to work! Have a sew crafty day!

  1. Well done for taking it easy, there won't be much chance once baby arrives but there will also be less time to sew; rest/sew it's a tough choice!
