To Do Week of 2/16/15 and Craftsy Sale

Hello. I hope you all had a nice weekend. One of my local high schools, the one I graduated from, is putting on the production, West Side Story, right now so I went to see it Friday night with a couple friends. One of my cousins had a main role and the daughter of one of the friends I went with ran the sound board. Everyone did a really good job! I'm always impressed by the talent of these high schoolers. The show has been so successful that it's being held over for 2 more performances this coming weekend. How exciting for these kids!

Before I get to my goals, today is the last day of Craftsy's big class sale! Check it out! (Sponsored post.)

My goals this week are going to be a bit lighter because I always seem to make them kind of lofty and end up not finishing everything.
  1. Bee blocks - I have 1/2 of 1 icicle star done with 3 more to go, along with 2 other blocks.
  2. Catch up on small things - my dad's hunting pants and face mask and a pair of my husband's pajama pants.
  3. Cut sashing for $5 quilt. Begin piecing top.
I'd love to hear what you're all up to this week! I know a lot of people will be heading to QuiltCon this week and I can't wait to read about all the fun!

Have a sew crafty day!

Jenn

  1. My goal for this week is to simply finish up one quilt, get a blog post scheduled for it, and then to enjoy QuiltCon. :) I am both excited and nervous about the conference... I'm a pretty introverted person, so it will be interesting to see how it goes. Your paper piecing looks great so far; I look forward to seeing the finished blocks.

  2. Your block is looking good, I really like the colors and prints you used.
