To Do Week of 2/9/15

Hello! I hope you all had a nice weekend. Mine was pretty low-key and was very nice. I actually got a nap in yesterday! I'm really excited for this morning. I have my 20-week ultrasound and I can't wait to see this little peanut! We're taking Max with us because we think it would be cool for him to see his little sister and hear her heartbeat. He's excited too and I can't wait to see his reaction. :) Unfortunately, I think he's coming down with another cold so this week might be another slow week as far as sewing goes. I sure will be glad when winter is over! Here are my goals:
  1. Begin constructing the Double Crossed quilt and finish as much as I can. Here is where I left off:
  2. Make my February bee blocks. I have 2 queens to sew for this month.
  3. Work more on my aunt's bag. I have everything for the body cut so I just need to start the construction.
  4. Cut the sashing strips for my grandpa's quilt.
  5. Shorten my dad's overalls and add button holes to his face mask.
I'd love to hear what you are working on this week!

Have a sew crafty day!

Jenn

  1. I had a pretty nice weekend. I spent some nice quality time with my husband and only got a few hours of sewing in. I hope to make progress on my ElephantParadeQAL blocks and start a new quilt top! I hope the ultrasound goes well; I think it's cool your son is excited to go!
