Winter/Spring Placemats

Hello. Today is my son's 1/2 birthday so Happy 5 1/2 to Max! :)

Well, despite 2 snow days this week, 1 completely unexpected, I was able to get the tops of my aunt's placemats done. I still have to trim the top and bottom borders but that will be super quick. Then I need to finish the "spring" side, which will be a solid piece of fabric, and get them put together! Assuming the weather holds off and we have no more snow days this week, I will have these done for Friday.

I've also received a few more of my bee blocks and I'm really excited about how this quilt is going to turn out. I think it will be so cute! I'm still waiting on a few more and then I'll have to piece a few to make up the difference. I need 12 in order to complete the quilt.

I'm linking up today to Let's Bee Social and WiP Wednesday.

I hope you all have a sew crafty day!

  2. Lovely place-mats, and your stars are stunning. I've never seen that star block design before, but it's a winner.
