WIP Wednesday - Commission Work

Hello everyone! This has been an exciting week for my kids. Max just turned 6 yesterday and had a super fun birthday party last weekend with 20 of his friends! And Annabelle is 4-months today! Where does the time go? I cannot believe that I have a 6-yr-old and that my teeny, tiny jellybean is a big, chunky monkey now! :)

I have made good progress on my commission work. All of the microwave bowl cozies and key fobs are close to being done and I have all the pieces ready for the zippered pencil pouches.

I'm excited to be able to get back to several of my other projects that I set out to complete this year before I got "sidetracked." My $5 quilt (see the end of this post) and the Double Crossed quilt are up first. I also have several other projects to start. This has been a busy week over at my Etsy shop and I will be participating in a craft fair again this November so I need to build some stock back up, as well as create some new items.

For Mother's Day, I finally upgraded my dinosaur flip phone to a smartphone! I really like it. And I finally broke down today and joined Instagram. So, if you are so inclined, you may follow me over there @sewcraftyjenn. I think I'm doing that right. :)

I'm linking up today to Freshly Pieced and Let's Bee Social.

Sew Fresh Quilts

Have a sew crafty day!

  1. I have a friend who is a big Seahawks fan; she would love that fabric. :) I still have a dinosaur myself... I'll upgrade one of these days, I suppose, but my battery lasts on a charge for a week!

  2. Happy Birthday to Max! I like today's micro bowls. I'm from WA and even though I'm not a major team sport fan I do carry a soft spot for all my birth state teams. I was a Cougar so the Huskies are okay as long as they are not up against WSU. I'll look you up on IG. I've been using mine a lot lately. It will be easier on your schedule than blogging. You may get addicted.

  3. The microwave bowl cozies are such a need idea. Grats on the birthdays, babies and new smart phone!

Thank you for your comments! I welcome all feedback and love to hear from you!
