Back in October, I finished 2 more mini quilts. My son has claimed the zig zag one. Maybe I'll be able to finish it for Christmas.
In November, I worked on some English paper pieced hexagons for a special project along with the Midnight Mystery Quilt instructions and a bee block.
At the end of November and beginning of December, I made 2 large sleep sacks for Annabelle. She has outgrown the Carter's brand, which goes up to 9-months, and the Halo sleep sacks are so expensive. She sleeps better in sleep sacks, though, because she moves around so much and they help slow her down. Not a lot, but every little bit helps! These are a good 6-8" longer than she is and there is still plenty of room across for her to grow. And they don't prevent her from getting up on her knees and scooting. I think she'll be crawling before long!
My quilt guild had a Christmas luncheon party this week and we were all asked to make floating 4-patch blocks. They were to be used as entries into a raffle to win all of the blocks. I made 4 blocks because they are simple and quick. And I ended up winning all of the blocks! I think I'm going to add a frame around each block because they are not all the same size and some are kind of wonky. This way, I'll have uniform sized blocks and the quilt will end up a bit bigger. But that will be a project for next year! :)
Also, I've been working the last couple months on another custom order. The same lady I made the Seattle Seahawks bowl cozies, key chains and zippered pouches for, wanted 4 table runners and 36 (3 sets of 12) napkins made with that same fabric. I finished all that last night and shipped everything out this morning. It feels good to have that big finish done!
Now, I have 2 quilts to bind, a few small Christmas gifts to make, 2 more sleep sacks to make for Annabelle and some things for myself that I may or may not get to for this year. And Christmas is 2 weeks away! Aaaaahhhhhhh! I better get crackin'!
I'm linking up to Can I Get a WHOOP WHOOP?, WHOOMP, There IT Is! and crazy mom quilts' finish it up Friday.
I hope you all have a Sew Crafty weekend!
